Recently lateralled - easiest for most to go as an internal transfer (this tends to make the move happen sooner - can be AN2 or most commonly on ASO promotion) and this typically won't be on an E3 if internal. Pretty good time for ASO's to make lateral moves using the E3 as most banks know it's relatively cheap/low effort
From the moves I've seen on my network, it's usually at the associate level and via internal transfer. Although I have seen someone go external for a corporate law gig, and another person land a role after going through an MBA program.
