AVP vs VP - What’s the Difference?

Currently being offered a role from a Sr. Analyst to an AVP. Not too sure what the difference is between the two roles and wondering if anyone could really outline what the responsibilities of an AVP are. Assuming it’s basically just a glorified associate role but not too certain if there’s any responsibility as far as executing loan docs and/or anything else.

Additionally, it seems like a sweet promotion, but is this jumping the gun a little bit? I’m confident I can learn what I need to early on but curious whether the learning curve between an AVP and a Sr Analyst may be steeper than I think.

Thoughts?
