Background check - but different question

Hi,

I'm posting this under a new account, but have a quick background check question. I appreciate theres a lot of questions on this but I couldn't find any similar to this.

During uni I did a placement year at one of the Big 4 and at the end of the year signed the offer to start there in sept. 2017 in case I didn't get any other offers this year.

I've also received an offer from an MM bank for a summer internship this summer, and they are now emailing me about the background check. Will the deferred offer from the Big 4 be an issue when the bank do my background check for the summer internship?

If it is likely to be an issue I will obviously call up, apologise and cancel the deferred offer. But if its not then I would like to have the big 4 offer as an insurance in case I don't get an offer at the end of the summer or after working the summer I realise that I don't want to work in banking etc...
