i am having the FT associate interview at a top bb. do i have to specify the department of the company i worked before in the resume?
of course i have to tell the interviewer, but how about i ignore it in resume? i do it because that department has been dismissed (before i quit) and most of my team mates have left.

Even if it has been dismissed, you should still disclose as much as possible. If they can't figure out how to contact people from there, that's their problem.
But in general you should list both the company and the department/group you worked in.
