Bad Idea or No Sweat?
Accepted an offer for a F500 business development program position before spring break. Have a final round this Friday for another F500 position. Just emailed and called to cancel the final interview and explain my acceptance of the other offer. Didn't get an answer but left a voice mail and I am sure the emails went through. Since I canceled two days in advance is there anything other than a "we don't like you now" response? Just wondering.
It's probably better that you called them in advanced and let them know you accepted an offer. It saves everyone time and I'm sure they will appreciate your upfrontness. I don't even think you'll get a "we don't like you now" response.
