Bad PSAT Score
In 8th grade I got a 1290 on the PSAT, does buyside recruiting look at that? For reference, I got a 1730 when I took it for real, so I’m not dumb, just nervous because breaking into a MF has been a dream ever since I read the WSJ that was sitting on the kitchen counter as a child. Do MF care? I was thinking about calling my middle school and asking to have the record expunged but I wasn’t sure of the scores importance.
If you go to a target middle school, maybe you can work around that. If not then you should shoot for an m7 high school program and try to crush the SAT or ACT.
How do you get a 1730 on the sat??? Unless you are a boomer and it was out of 2400.

It’s a pretty big deal… Your interviewer will definitely bring it up, so make sure you have a story ready. As an example, the school lunch that day was pizza with choccy milk, so your body failed you.
