Received an offer from one of the firm as analyst lateral few weeks back, but don’t know what to think of the merger.

Pretty low chance you get cut as an analyst IMO, this deal makes sense and doubt they will be making any personnel changes. TD barely has an IB practice and keeping the people is the whole point of the transaction.
