BAML Internal Mobility? Trying to switch to M&A/Sponsors after a year?

I was wondering if anyone knows what the internal mobility is like at BAML. I've got an offer to join one of the decent Industry Coverage groups there for full-time starting in 2015 (HC/C&R/Industrials) after coming from somewhere else during my summer stint. However, the group that I have the offer from doesn't really place all that well into any notable funds in PE/HFs. They told me there'd be an option to stay on for a third year and possibly get promoted to associate, but realistically I don't see myself as a career banker.

I'm wondering if there's any chance to move over to BAML's M&A or Sponsors group, or even Lev Fin after a year at the bank and starting over as an Analyst 1. If so, how would I go about doing that? Headhunter, internal networking with people in the group I want to join, looking for an opening on the internal BAML website? While I really liked the people that I met interviewing, I just can't rationalize spending 2 years working horrendous hours for a mediocre exit; I would much rather work 1 year in this group then do 2 years in a top group and have a solid exit.

Or, I'm wondering if I would be able to move to MS/JPM/GS into the respective coverage group that I'd be joining @ BAML, and if so, how easy/likely this is.

Thanks in advance for the help.
