I have heard at BAML that most of the M&A modeling gets outsourced to the M&A group, would this mean that as an analyst I would be able to get experience across industries?
Worth noting that there’s a personality aspect to consider. In C&R you will work with your (the same) team day in and day out. In M&A at BAML you’d typically be the only junior staffed on any given deal from the M&A team, I.e. you are always working with a new team. people will like the variety, but others will find it tiring to always have to make a new great first impression
both great groups with strong exits in both. M&A might be a bit more consistent/strong on that front, but if you know you're really interested in C&R then do C&R

M&A historically has had low return offer rates, but if you think you can get a return, go with M&A. Best group at BAML for experience and exits.

I thought yourself as eventually being CEO of a major fashion company that wears red bottoms to work every day? hmmmmm
I don't know exactly what path I want to take to get there
You need to chill fam. Being a go-getter is cool. Being obnoxious isn't. It also won't get you a return offer.
C&R at BAML is a sweatshop.
Is this still true/is it worth the rank tho?
