Bank wants 3 references
Already got the offer, but for the employment form that they want interns to fill out before starting, it is asking for 4 references. Is it okay if I only put down 3? Is this a big deal?

Just put an old coworker you know. If you already got the offer, I'm not sure the point in them calling your references. Is this offer conditional on your references checking out?
I think it's just a background check. So can I put 2 people from the same firm, and one from a different one? I could do that
I don't see why not. If they have a problem with that they'll let you know. Just let your references know you put them down just in case.
P.S. I didn't throw the MS
You could definitely list multiples from the same place. Hell, if they absolutely need a fourth, you could even list one of your friends.
What to do if you can't provide 3 references for a job application? Because of unemployment gap after college (Originally Posted: 07/12/2018)
Hello, I graduated college many years ago and I have not landed a single job since. (Nor have I ever had a job) If a new job recruiter asks me for 3 references and I can't provide a single one, what should I do? If I tell the recruiter that I can't provide any references, will that automatically disqualify me from being a candidate for the job?
How were you able to graduate college without ever having a single job and still get an interview with a recruiter?
It's called entry level positions.
So is your resume, like, blank?
