Ok, fine, I will bite. What is a banker vest?
Aim for Barbour, Patagonia, or Arc'teryx. Patagonia is a safe bet.
A vest so special it is fit only for the masters of the universe..
I thought PE people were masters of the universe? Or has that changed?
Please advise thx
I can't keep it straight at this point. Is it:
GS TMT IBD > Carlyle > HBS > KKR > Master of Universe?
Are you still able to become a master if you have to begrudgingly accept MS TMT?
if you're talking about vests that people who work in IB wear casually, then get the fuck over yourself, just buy what you like.
if you're talking about what companies get embroidered with their logo, my bank's internal page has patagonia & marmot, as well as some no name brand.
"banker vest" - lol
Dude, get the Carhatt!!! Banker that changes oil and brakes
Saw someone on the street with a vest that said "Healthcare Investment Banking" with a recognizable bank logo on the chest. Please don't be that guy.
intern, guaranteed
This shit is on point.
Will they stop bullets?
Pick the right vest man...it's the difference between top bucket and bottom bucket.
I don't think you guys understand, I have to order them for my team lol. I'm like working on a PPT putting together some options
Pick 3 brands that people mentioned Survey to determine winner and backup Call brand(s) and get customs direct
Oh well in that case, definitely go for the Vineyard Vines vest with the VV logo on the left side, and the specific group of each person embroidered on the right. That way, the HR girls that they will meet at the bars know they're fratty AND they work in capital markets. Win-win.
