Banking a Year out of School
So I've been out of school for a year now. Wasn't able to land a banking job right out of school and have been in a sales role since graduating. I wanted to see what your guys' thoughts were on breaking into the industry a year out of school..
do you have prior internship experiences?...without it nearly impossible, with it and some solid networking could very well happen I just would not count on a BB or top tier MM i'd look more boutique.
Most of my internship experience was based in the Asset Management field, so none that directly relate to Banking. But I did come from a top 10 Business school and Sales skills are pretty transferable to anything, no?
Also, I'm Series 7 and Series 66 licensed so I figure that would help my cause also.
