Out of curiosity, what banks are you all aware of that generally promote analysts to associate after two years, as opposed to the normal 3. So far, I've only heard of Lazard and GS. Any other major banks that do this?

Also interested... I know DB does 2.5 years, and I believe the top analyst in each group at RBC gets promoted after 2 years but not positive on that one

I remember reading somewhere that Credit Suisse does A2A after only two years. Not 100% sure but I'm fairly confident.
I have heard of someone getting promoted in 2 years at CS and was told this was "early", but they're a VP now so not sure if 2 years is the norm for people getting promoted now.
MS also does A2A. The associates have a weird title the first year internally like Developmental Associate or something but for all intents and purposes (including pay) they're associates and begin to operate like one at that point.
I heard that when they brought the analyst program down to 2 years, they actually elongated the associate program to 4 years in MS.
I have heard that as well but cannot confirm that. I would think for the general associate class it's true but high-performers may have a shot at VP after 3 years
JPM has an early promote for every role up to Exec Director.
I can confirm that BAML and DB do 2 year analyst to associate programs.
DB has an early VP promote program as well for top performers.
