What do MDs and EDs typically do if they get fired at that point in their career? Can they easily take up a similar role somewhere else? Retire?
what astonishes me is that barcap is considering cutting salary for analysts as well as senior employees. usually analysts are not affected by similar pay cuts, are they?
Have you not been reading the news? Everyone at every level everywhere is getting fucked... CS capping cash comp at 100k and deferring senior level equity comp up to 8 years. Comp is a rough topic right now.
