Barclays EMEA Video Interview
Hey there,
anyone know anything about Barclays' new Video Interview stage that apparently replaces the first round telephone interview with HR? I have been invited to one for an internship position in London, but no idea what to expect.
What to Expect in First Round Video Interview
The first round video interview is behavioral or strengths-focused. As one WSO member reports, it will have a total of 12 questions, having a maximum of 2 minutes time allowed to answer each one. You won’t be able to do multiple recordings of the same question, but you will have time to pause in between questions. Although the format is different, questions are similar if not the same as in recent years telephone interviews.

Some questions you could expect to be asked in the interview are:
- How do you ensure that you learn quickly ?
- What motivates you to do this ?
- How did you feel after succeeding in something you worked hard on ?
- Why do you think that you will be successful in the division you applied for ?

I guess nobody/only a few have taken the interview so far because it is quite new. Still, If anyone is willing to help, that'd be great.

From what I read and heared the interview should be only fit. Anyone here to confirm this?

What motivates you to do this ? questions about self achievement "how did you feel after succeeding in something you worked hard on ? (it's not the question but I do not remember it exactly). Why do you think that you will be successful in the division you applied for ?
I can confirm that the interview will be only strengths-based with a total of 12 questions, having a maximum of 2 minutes time allowed to answer each one. No multiple recordings of the same question but time to pause in between. Questions are similar if not the same as in recent years telephone interviews. Can also confirm Prixns questions being asked.
