Barclays Full Time Placement 2022
Those returning to Barclays for full time- what have you heard about group placement? Have you been talking to the group that you summered in if you wish to return? Have they reached out to you?
Can tell you from the other side that FTs have been reaching out since January, with a lot more in recent months (we probably have ~30 kids on our radar rn).
Most groups will prioritize returning summers, so I think some groups will end up not having any extra FT spots (e.g. last year CRG had no extra FT spots outside of their returning summers).
Would definitely get on networking if you haven’t already. Last year placements closed/groups gave offers at the end of July - I suspect timing will be the same this year, even if HR hasn’t said anything (they tell you only a few weeks before it closes which is super un-helpful).
Anyone hear if training is in person or not? When do we take the SIE?
