Barclays Global Investors - Invited by BGI for interview
Hi, all
I've just got invited by BGI for interview as an summer intern in Global Index and Markets Group (GIMG). However, I know little about the company and that specific group. What exactly do this group focus?
Actually I've sent out a couple of forms but just got a few back. This one might be quite important for a new comer like me.
In that sense, can anybody shed some light on this group, their mainstream service or any other competitive advantages. What is the process like?
Your kind advice would be of great value to me.

how long ago did you apply to BGI?
All I know is that BGI is world's #1 asset manager as measured by total value of assets (they manage around 1.5 trillion as of 2006). But you were probably aware of this anyway.
