Are most analysts in BB IB Houston firms just pitching deals nowadays? Since equity and debt financing to a lesser extent aren't as prominent as before, what are analysts doing? I imagine some deals go through for a few analysts on m and a deals but are the large majority just pitching?

There are quite a few mandates going on, mostly M&A but still significant. Some pitches but they've been related to mandates. I'm busier now than I was this summer which I thought was impossible.
