BB office at a small country? Any prestigious at all?

Hey guys,

I landed two M&A FT offers in the country I live (LatAm). One is at the largest local M&A boutique (lots of lower middle market deals) and the other is at a BB office (way less dealflow, but some deals tend to reach the billions)

I believe there are more opportunities to learn at the boutique, however, it is practically unknown to the world, whereas the BB has a strong name and prestige, but obviously deal flow is significantly smaller (this does not mean fewer hours tho, I've heard that they spend a lot of time on pitches)

As a recent graduate who wants to work at a global financial hub in the future (such as NYC, LDN), which option would you choose?

Thanks in advance

i assume youre in Peru by what you have mentioned. Ive seen people move from local offices to NYC at BBs, without going for an MBA. But Ive also seen people go from boutiques to top MBAs (e.g. Tyndall in Chile). I would probabably go w the BB, just in case you dont want to stay in finance for the long run
