Between a half dozen recent threads & talking with older friends/Greek alumni who are in IB, it seems like the banking path is potentially not for me. Does anyone have experience jumping ship from an IB SA to an MBB role? Would it be better to grind one year in banking then try for MBB? I'm a junior incoming mid-tier BB SA from a target (HYPSMW), high GPA but fluffy major, if that changes anything.
