source: know people there. split is ~90% advisory and ~10% investing. people typically join BDT for a longer stint. great WLB. i could be wrong but its hard to get a pure investing seat at BDT out of undergrad but is possible from what I've seen on linkedin. role is more skewed towards investing in their NYC and Menlo offices.
