BDT & MSD Partners | Updated views?
Looking for updated views on the firm. What’s the split between advisory and investing for junior folks? Any color on how they compare to a top BB/EB analyst stint? What about other strategies like credit?
source: know people there. split is ~90% advisory and ~10% investing. people typically join BDT for a longer stint. great WLB. i could be wrong but its hard to get a pure investing seat at BDT out of undergrad but is possible from what I've seen on linkedin. role is more skewed towards investing in their NYC and Menlo offices.
