Be honest with me. Is it possible for me to get a BB offer?

I'm a rising senior and I have a 3.5 from a non-HYPWharton Ivy. I'm an Engineering major, but I will only have one IB internship from a boutique after this summer. I recently decided to change from engineering to finance, but have been networking hard for FT recruiting in the fall. Do I have a shot at BBs or top elite boutiques, or should i just settle for MMs?

Of course you have a good shot! Are you kidding me?

Great school. Good enough GPA. Awesome Major. OK Junior Year summer internship.

Keep on pushing and you will do well. I know guys who made it to GS/MS/JPM for full-time and the entire three summers at college they were simply taking classes or fucking around.

Don't try to make these informationals formal (at least that's what it sounds like). Make it personal and keep these in-person meets (phone/emails should be your last pref).

How about instead of asking this forum, you network really hard and try to get an offer at a boutique, EB, MM, or BB? I did it this summer and got an offer from a local boutique. Considering that you're two years farther along AND have a 3.5 at an Ivy, you have a chance if you do it right.

Good luck.

yes, linkedin.
