Beefing Up the Resume

BB Summer Deal Experience:

I interned at a BB last summer and got involved in some live deals in addition to massive pitching streaks. There was this 1 deal however that the team had closed prior to when I got there(already announced and terms were already arranged). I was later staffed on some follow up valuations for the deal. Would it make sense to include this deal on my resume if I got involved so late in the process? Would it make sense to include any deals at all as a summer? I was given more responsibilities as the team was small.

I am looking at PE opportunities and this deal would definitely raise some eyebrows!

Would appreciate some insight ...

Devils Advocate: so you're saying this could work against me in an interview if I stumble on logistics & details (completely agree), but would it be worth it if my initial objective would be to land the interview given a very competitive hiring environment? In other words you had your pick between two people same profiles except>

Resume with no large deal on resume- regular bullshit pointers like (updating comps, doing research, running models)

OR

Resume with a large deal >25bn - two points on contribution to deal.

I feel like I could entertain a few conversations, do some back up research and reading to know the ins and outs of the deal for the interview.
