Best Boutiques for Tech IB
Hi I'm wondering what the best boutiques are for tech IB in SF/Menlo/Palo Alto? I understand that Qatalyst is probably the best. Evercore and Centerview are both very strong. But what about Lazard, PJT, PWP and other boutiques?
bump
GP Bullhound is strong and has an SF office.
Are we seriously comparing GP Bullhound to Qatalyst, Laz and CW?
Boutique IB Firm Focused on Tech (Originally Posted: 03/02/2012)
I have an interview tomorrow for a boutique IB focused on technology which specializes in enterprise software, mobile apps, etc.
I was told that the interview will involve technical and fit questions. However, one thing to note is that I was told that they mostly look at fit when I asked my main contact there. So should I look at more of the basic technical interview questions? Or should I look at the advanced ones as well on the Tech Interview Guide from WSO?
Any comments will be helpful!
Get the M+I guide and work through it. A lot of the people that were successful with recruiting used that. The WSO and Vault guides are also very good.
you should always be prepared to answer every type of technical questions during interview.
that being said, you will probably get the basic from this shop given its specialties. be prepared to talk a bit about the industry and what's your thoughts on it.
