It seems like everyone on this site (myself included) is obsessed with exit ops. I know private equity or a hedge fund is the typical exit op from IB, but what are some others? What if you're doing MF PE or working somewhere like Tiger Global? Is there anywhere up from there? Lateral? I've heard of kids going to work at family offices for super wealthy and/or famous people. What are the best non-finance exit ops (say you wanted to be CEO of Disney or run a record label)? Essentially, other than the typical exit ops everyone says, what are best case scenario, not-a-real-job type of exit ops?
