Best groups in BAML to convert an MBA summer internship into FT offer
Hi guys, I am a 1st year MBA candidate at a top European business school and I just got the offer for summer internship at BAML in London (even tho it will be 99% virtual).
Which are the product and/or industry groups that traditionally hire the most so I can maximize my chances to convert my internship?
Moreover, from an exit opportunities perspective, which groups in BAML are the best to land into PE mega funds?

I don't think the specific team is that crucial in being hired. If you are good enough and they don't have headcount they will put you in the general pool and you will be placed somewhere regardless. The best course of action is choosing a team you like which is also ideally strong and then working the get recognition.

Why give MS lol?
Industrials & NRG are full of post MBAs, some other teams have less
And for MFs its more about your ability to convert, you will get looks & interviews from most of the funds (albeit not sure if post MBAs are seen different)

I know a guy that did T2 Consulting > LBS MBA > US Top BB (in London) > Bain Cap
