M&C, Tech, Healthcare, M&A are all strong teams. M&C is a sweatshop though, I personally would stay far away. UK&I might be best for a balance between strong group and decent lifestyle.

Any team at MS will be well-respected though, people place too much emphasis on what the 'best' group is imo.

Ok thanks that helps a lot. I am having a AC there next week and I have to talk about which industry fascinates me the most. Interest wise it is healthcare followed closely by tech, just wanted to make sure they are good in this industry.

Lastly, at the risk of coming across as an idiot.. what does M&A mean? I assume Merger & Acquisition, but this us where I am confused about. In every industry coverage team you work on M&A transactions, why have a separate team?

Interned in the M&A team of a European BB this summer; M&A team are way more focus on how to get the deal done I would say, they are expert in the process. They also focus a lot on modeling (tho it can be split with the sector team), deal structuring (like what would be the best approach to get things done). I never did some market-related stuff (e.g. profiles, competition landscape analysis), way less pitches also.
