Best healthcare team at the top 3 BBs in EMEA
Lucky enough to have received 2 SA offers from the top 3 BBs (JPM, MS, GS). As I have an interest in HC and given my background and the way I interviewed, I have strong chance to get that team at those 2 banks. I was wondering which of the 3 has the best healthcare team. Based mainly on deal flow, conversion, exit and prestige.
Is there really any material upside btween them or should one just go with the people they preferred.
I mainly interested in pharma/biotech if that matters.
Also interested in HC PE/GE or Emerging market PE or Activism HF.
Any advice would be very appreciated

MS / JPM are on par, followed by GS
JPM has historically been the leader, and I would still consider them the top dog.
All 3 top BBs are good in HC -funnily enough I think that BofA is #1 this year though but that doesn't really matter. Pick based on the team you enjoy working the most with you'll have great exits from all of them.
Other random considerations include team sizes (MS is often leaner), office location (Canary Warf SUCKS)
If you look at last years in EMEA I would say that JP/MS/BofA are doing great whilst GS is getting a little bit behind
Anyways BofA too focused on german market whilst the others are more diversified
My take from the 3 you listed would be JP if you are looking for a long career in the i HC
Don't underestimate office location.....
Yes, the window you are looking out from the entire week is crucial (especially during WFH)
This guy will join next summer, by then i'd expect to be in the office quite a bit, and I'd argue that after 1year of WFH the office location will be even more relevant as it'll suck to go back
Is this for SA or FT? Cos you'll need to consider conversion rate also

For exits and prestige, I would normally say go with GS / MS.
But because this is healthcare, I'd say JPM

Maybe but by a tiny bit that is not necessarily relevant - there may be some self selection ie - better teams at MS that attract the top candidates vs the top candidates going for HC at JP.
In both US / EMEA, GS / MS is more prestigious than JPM and offers better exits
Seems like you got JPM and are trying to validate your choice. If you are confident that you can get placed into HC, then JPM wins.
But looking at overall reputation, prestige and exits, GS / MS is the clear choice
