What are the best middle.market/boutique banks to work for in San Francisco?
Trying to avoid bulge brackets as I'm tired of the lifestyle.

Qatalyst Partners? Although they're one of the best shops in SF period. I hear Lazard works surprisingly normal hours, compared to their reputation as a sweat shop at least. I have some buddies who work over at Seven Hills, but they're working BB hours week in and week out.

Houlihan is pretty good in San Fran. They work you like a dog though.
Jefferies tech in Foster City. Sweatshop hours though.
RBC in SF is pretty "chill." Not sure how good the deal flow is though...
