Best of the Best IB?

Forgive me if this is an ignorant or stupid question as I am not in banking.

WSO loves to rank banks/groups. Obviously this question is very dependent on personal interests and goals and other factors, but is there a "best of the best" group within the "best of the best" bank? A specific group at a specific bank that is know for being the most elite of the elite? Like the Seal Team 6 of banking.

Literally just curious. Happy Holidays

Note: I realize people have different definitions of "best" and "elite" but I hope the overarching questions comes through. Thanks

Completely disregard anyone with the title “intern” or “prospect”.

The top group is GS TMT

Yep when my cousin is taken hostage in a foreign country I’d def rather a pencil neck banker at PJT RSSG get them back instead of Seal Team Six.

You will never be able to find 99% of the people to have served in seal team six - one of the most elite counterterrorism units on the planet. With that in mind, you shouldn’t really give a fuck about whether some online edgelords care about how “prestigious” your firm is
