Best Research Platforms

I'm working at a Boutique IB in Menlo Park and we've been using a team in India for research and their databases (e.g. Equity Research, Market Research, etc.). We're going to get rid of them and hire someone in house to do research exclusively for our firm and I'm trying to find a database that includes the most Equity Research and Market Research possible. I worked at a bigger firm before and we used Thomson Reuters and Cap-IQ, but I don't remember those reports being that useful (especially for market reports). Is there something else out there that aggregates as many banks' (or any other types of firms) research (both equity and market) as possible? Ideal market reports include competition in the space, valuation techniques used in the market, and M&A comparables.

I don't know if something like this exists, but thought you all would know.
