I just wanted to see which firms have the best TMT group besides GS which seems to be a clear front runner. Any outlook is appreciated.

Most other banks tend to have Tech as a separate group.
MS tech and m&t good. Citi m&t good. Barclays m&t decent. BAML TMT sweatshop/pitch house. JPM/CS TMT not great. UBS TMT has been on a couple deals lately but still small player. DB TMT non existent.
JPM split their TMT group back in 2015 to Tech and Media & Comms. I don't know much about their tech group, but their M&C team has been on almost every major deal for the past year and a half.
the issue is I don’t think they were on the advisory side...of course JPM will be involved in every big deal...they are the biggest source of funding for any mega deals. How many of those were true advisory or just m&a credit? Just based on personal experience, I haven’t seen their names on major sellsides and if they were on the buyside, another bank had the advisory role

Depends which country/continent you're looking at. Top TMT groups in NYC are very different than top TMT groups in Tokyo etc.
