Best WFH Budget Laptop

So I am starting work for a firm that doesn't provide laptops for new analysts. I currently own a MacBook from college but want to keep that as my personal computer and not have work stuff on it and its a Mac so impossible to use anyways. I am curious if anyone has recommendations for a good budget windows laptop for working remotely? Also, does it even need to have much processing power if we use a remote desktop? Any recommendations would be great.

If you're looking for a temporary solution just for the summer, get a Microsoft Surface Laptop or Surface Laptop Studio directly from microsoft.com. Microsoft has a 60-day Surface return window, and a big pro tip is that they give you an additional 30 days from the day you request a return, giving you up to a total of 90 days. I just recently did this as I am in my last semester of college and needed a temporary PC to get through my finance classes but had no need for keeping a PC post-graduation as my bank is going to be issuing me a computer. I went with the Surface Laptop Studio and it was an amazing computer and the return process was super easy.
