IB =  People will ask you what stocks to buy 

Tech = People will think you can fix their computer

In all seriousness, choose what you’re good at  and have a natural interest for.

First of all, I advise you not to view life this way as no one does post-college. Second, it's apples and oranges - what is even the comparison between two entirely different roles / industries? 

 

Pretty much the same quality for a job but tech isn't really "prestigious" so to speak. When you think of prestige you think of something very conservative old moneyish
