Big 4 valuation in California

Hi everyone. I currently have an offer to join a big 4 company in California (LA). I have worked for the same company in a different region for 2 years. I just quit & am planning to do a MSc in Europe, and also started a banking internship at an obscure boutique.

Now however, they're offering to sponsor me if I move to the US. I had told them I was leaving because I wanted to move. It was also weird because I had no idea B4 sponsored internationals for non-audit divisions. My base salary is $100k. No idea about the bonuses. Projects are mostly in the US, but they were clear it's going to require lots of traveling to work on client site. There is a commitment clause in the contact stipulating that if I leave within 6 years they'll claw back money for the sponsorship.

I'm not American, so I just need an overall idea of what it's going to be like in LA. My alternative is a European MSc that will cost around $35k, but guaranteed entry to IB/PE in Europe. What do you think?
