Biggest and Best Exit Ops in Toronto

Trying to get the lay of the land to understand the buy-side a bit more in Toronto and would love any insight.

I know from personal exp the HF space is tiny and shit. AM boutiques, same thing minus a few of the large guys.

VC's a joke.

PE's kind of tiny (correct me if i'm wrong?)

Are the majority of the buy-side ops in Toronto basically lower MM PE and real estate, given how important the asset class is to the entire economy?
