This is tricky. really depends if u have the financial and mental bandwidth to stay in school for an extra sem. also , jw, how did u receive an offer for sa 26 this far out?

I do have the financial, and could just use the salary in the future to pay. Mental I would rather grad on time but it’s not that deep since I can just go abroad or something or fuck around. Got the offer by being persistent and constantly looking for open opportunities online and networking. Must have been a renege or they needed an extra hand

Congrats. Good dilemma to have.

Can I ask what your “persistent” networking looked like ? I’ve found it easy to hop on calls for first time but catching up / staying in touch is harder for me.

Curious to hear how you did this.

Just keep updating them on things in your life, and creating a genuine connection. Maybe an opportunity arises maybe it doesn’t but nothing more important than who you know
