BIWS Interview Guide (M&I)
Hey guys,
Is BIWS Interview Guide (M&I) worth the buy assuming I don't care about the price at all?
I have used the search button and have heard mixed answers about it.
Also, how is it compared to the WSO guide?
Thanks!

I loved it, was the only guide I used for interview prep, was never really asked anything beyond that, except during PE interviews but the guide has a great section on advanced LBO stuff.
Cant really help on the comparison to the WSO guide though.
Hey thanks for your reply... Sounds great!
I am interviewing for SA positions so I think that would suffice...!
How do you find the fit / behavior questions though? I actually find those questions harder than the technical questions...
As I said for me it was more than enough. I think the fit/behavior section is extremly extensive but I never focused onto that too much since I find those questions rather enjoyable and easy.
Depends on you but I think most stuff is covered. If you feel its not enough, get other guides but I think that guide is sufficient.
Did you guys ever get asked questions from those advanced sections of M&A, and LBO? or is it worth of going thru every single section of the technical questions. I asked that because I found most technical questions i got during interviews are fairly basic, even tho i'm a finance major and have relevant finance experience.
^^ just bought the guide and I am interested to know this as well because I'm a finance major with relevant internship experience..
Honestly I never got a question from the advanced M&A but did from the LBO though not for any IBD interviews. I think the advanced M&A are good to know but not a necessity.
While you will probably not get asked the more advanced technical questions, understanding advanced modeling should enhance your understanding of the basic and intermediate topics and therefore make such questions easy to answer. That's the way I look at it at least.
i'll just put in here and say i thought the wetfeet guide can't compare to the WSO guide i'm reading now. i just wish it was the wetfeet guide with the moneyback guarantee. ugh.
