Bloomberg London vs PwC Valuations. Which internship better for BB IB M&A next cycle?

Hey everyone,

I’m currently in my second year of a three-year bachelor’s program and already completed an investment banking internship at a boutique where I worked on live M&A deals and valuation work. I now have two guaranteed offers for next summer:

  1. Bloomberg in London, where I can choose the group.
  2. PwC Valuations in a third-world country, with solid valuation exposure but a smaller  market, obv much smaller then london

My end goal is to land a Summer Analyst role in investment banking M&A at a bulge bracket in London for the next cycle. If recruiting doesn’t work out this year, I’d fall back on one of these two.

Given that I already have one IB internship, which would be the stronger choice to position myself best for BB M&A recruiting next year, Bloomberg London or PwC Valuations? And if Bloomberg, which group would be most relevant for IB?

Thanks for the help.

saw this on reddit.

if you want to do IB why the would you go to bloomberg.

Reddit is actually full of retards that are ill advising people.

But the goal should be to get an IB internship in London for 2026 if you are in 2nd year now. Or a big 4 internship in London. But if given the binary choice here its PwC
