BoA ECM - Thoughts
I have not heard amazing things from previous SAs at my school in the past. Anyone have some current insight?

Arguably the worst ECM shop on the street, is led by a junkie psychopath widely regarded as the biggest tool / narcissistic / insecure wanna be on Wall Street. Would legitimately and not sarcastically go to Maxim or Tiger ECM over BofA, avoid at all costs.
I would second this comment. Even if you disregard the cringe lord running the team, you won't be working on many lead roles.
What makes it so bad beyond the guy running the show?
Is this only at the analyst level or also at associate and VP?
He sets all the rules. Analysts and associates have to be in their seat by 7:30. He’ll harass you in the bathroom, shout slurs at you, the list goes on…
What’s his first name? Just curious
They do a good amount of deals and lead some and is a well respected ECM platform from the outside looking in, but heard group head is totally unbearable and everyone hates working there
Second this - group head is a total tool and people in the group seem unhappy in general.
That being said, BofA is a decent brand and they do deals. They’re not often the lead bank but given the brand/balance sheet they snag a lot of active bookrunner roles.
