BofA 2nd Year Collapses?
I read on instagram (i know) yesterday from a reputable source in finace that a 2nd year collapsed at BofA?
Anyone aware of his condition? It’s sad to see this trend still continuing despite BofA’s recently introduced “policies” for work hours.
Litquidity is the most reputable source on the street
Guess the group
Gonna go with TMT but unfortunately no Oracle here
FIG...?
GIG apparently
Anecdotally I’ve heard a lot of things about this group… and none of it is good
As a former GIG junior, this doesn’t surprise me at all. The group has been going downhill for years but is still extremely toxic and sweaty.
This bank will never learn. Heard the person is ok at least.
Crazy with AI and all the other tools available that juniors are still being overworked to the point of passing out.
Agreed - I’m imagining that it’s part of the cycle - senior people worked hard so why should juniors have it easy?
Not in banking tho so I’m not the guy to be voicing my opinion here just my take on it
I’m glad to hear that he’s recovered
Prayers up for the analyst and shame on BofA… again…
Always BofA
Does the equation change if it’s for the biggest M&A fee event of all time?
That deal was already announced. Knowing BofA, it was probably for some unnecessary 100-page pitchbook that a client didn’t ask for
How does such a mediocre place keep resulting in junior deaths and injuries? None of the other bulges seem to produce as many incidents as Bank of America.
Groups & teams are way too big there, top to bottom. There’s no accountability and people get lost in the shuffle, which leaves room for incompetent and/or psychopathic managers to thrive.
The bloated headcount also hurts compensation, adding to the sting.
Kid on my floor at RBC industrials passed out from overwork. Bank completely swept it under the rug.
