I'm a first year analyst at one of the top MM banks. I feel that I am at the very low end of my analyst class and my staffer has made some very rude comments recently. Do analyst bonuses usually stay within a set range? I know that there are always buckets for low middle and top tier separated by around 20K give or take, but is it common for some analysts to receive lower than the bottom bucket?
