In the process of lateralling banks but not getting bonus until March. Has anyone ever successfully negotiated to get their bonus paid by the new bank? I'll probably get the offer soon and they want someone to start mid Feb. Even if my bonus isn't great, I am definitely not leaving until I get it.

In 2020 banks were willing to pay your bonus upon lateraling but doubt this is the case now
