Books for IB/PE
Hello All,
I hope you are well.
I am trying to break into PE/IB and was wondering if there were any good books that touched upon modeling and/or investment strategies, if so, could you please share?

Books are a waste of time for what you’re looking for in terms of value. They’re a low priority and at most should be done on top of all the other forms of prep that are much more important.
They’re best for peripheral and perspective building. In terms of improving technical skill they will never be too valuable because they are an abstract.
Rosenbaum and Valuation by Goedhart/wessels/koller are both solid
I just read Negotiating the Impossible by Deepak Malhotra. No related to banking but a great book written on negotiation tactics.
What It Takes by Stephen Schwarzman provides some interesting anecdotes
