Boutique/EB Partner Comp?

Are partners at Blair or EBs making anywhere close to figures like $40mm for compensation? I was told a Blair partner received this type of compensation and then took the office to a Michelin Star restaurant for dinner ~750k.

This sounded like straight bs to me. I feel like anyone who isn't CEO/quasi-CEO getting paid more than folks like David Solomon or Jamie Dimon is a little farfetched. Would love to hear some thoughts
