I am very interested in possibly interning for a bank in Brazil next summer but just don't know how to go about it. I am currently learning Portuguese. I have been looking around but not finding much. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Although the Brazilian M&A market is hot, I heard it is tought to get visa's to work there (a friend of mine had an offer for an internship with a large IB there and the bank later told him that they would take their offer back since they weren't being able to get visas issued for the summer).
That being said you should try all the major international banks but also the national players (ITAU, Banco do Brasil, BTG Pactual, etc.). Another way of playing it is to apply to Portuguese banks that have operations in Brazil (BES Investimento and Caixa Banco de Investimento).
