Break in from asset management in Italy??
Hi everybody, I'm a 2nd year analyst in an Asset Management firm in Italy, part of a big private equity group.. I was thinking to switch to ib, but I need some advice (I've never applied for an ib position):
1) Having an experience in am but not in investment banking, I have to apply for experienced positions or for graduate programs?
2) There are opportunities in the US for european people? My dream would be to get an ib job in NYC..
3) It would be easier for me to get a job in PWM or trading, given my experience in am?
