Break into IB studying Finance or Accounting?
After talking to a few people in the industry, I got the impression that there are more and more people with an MSc in finance... considering that in recent years it has become increasingly difficult to get a job in finance. So I was wondering if (still considering only target schools, European ones in my case) it would be better to specialize in accounting, which I find very similar to what IB and PE roles often involve, i.e., financial statement analysis. What do you think?
