Breaking into a Hong Kong IB from UCLA - How to network?
How should I go about doing this? I don't think UCLA is a target school...so how would I go about networking?

How should I go about doing this? I don't think UCLA is a target school...so how would I go about networking?
How would you go about with any networking..? Contact alumni, and if you're from any part of Asia, take the time to fly up there if you have time to meet them. The thing about recruiting with them, is you're passionate about working in HK instead of just the normal "im interested in banking and your life." Its an extra topic to bond and talk over. Take advantage of that.
From what I understand, networking is not as big as a part of BB recruiting for HK. Though, there are some networking events in the city for Asia when recruiting swings around. Be sure to look out for them. You might have to submit a resume or register or something.
