Breaking into Energy

Hi All,

Wanted to get some friendly advice on the current landscape of IBs. I'm currently working as a first year analyst at a global boutique focused on M&A advisory. After completing a internship at our Shanghai office, I was placed in HK to help bridge the gap between our east and western offices. Loving the exposure and culture here, and have gotten the chance to work on a variety of deals in industrials, tech and conlux

I have recently grown extremely interested in Energy as a sector (specifically renewables), and was wondering how to plot my career path to take advatage of this interest. I know a lot of PE funds/IBs have a strong presence in this sector, and was hoping to get your advice on who I should begin networking with.

Thanks guys!

Best,

ChinaBanker
